Very Important Vintage Ben Begaye (d) Sterling Silver Necklace

Ben Begaye (d.) was our favorite feather artist and he will be greatly missed. Incredible quality and intricacy. This is a magnificent vintage Navajo all silver feather necklace handmade by the famous artist, Ben Begaye. This remarkable necklace contains five outstanding large detailed hand carved silver feathers with the largest measuring a whopping 3-1/4" X 1-1/2" including the silver bail. Accenting the large silver feather are four amazing large graduating silver raindrops. I absolutely love the detailing and beauty of each precise handmade silver feather. Located throughout the rest of the necklace are silver links with a traditional silver clasp. Such beautiful workmanship. Sterling silver, marked. Signed by Navajo artist, Ben Begaye (d). The length of the necklace measures around 29-1/2". Sturdy 40 grams.
