One Of The Most Unique Vintage Santo Domingo Turquoise Inlay Necklace

This is a breathtaking vintage Santo Domingo inlaid necklace. This necklace is extremely unique with its wormanship. The necklace consists of 16 outstanding inlaid rounded hand carved white stones. The inlay consists of pipestone, Royston turquoise, jet and Number 8 turquoise. Resting at the bottom of the necklace is a wonderful triangular shaped inlaid pendant that includes Number 8 turquoise, jet, white stone and spiny oyster shell. The bottom triangular shaped pendant measures around 1-1/2" X 1-1/4". Each of the rounded stones measure around 5/8" X 5/8". Situated throughout the inlaid rounded stones are marvelous thick disc shaped turquoise stones. Resting at the top of the necklace are a beautiful plethora of hand cut white shell heishi with accenting inlaid rectangular patterns that consist of orange spiny oyster, white stone, jet, and Number 8 turquoise. The intricacy and detailing on this necklace is absolutely phenomenal. Sterling silver. Cir. Mid century . The length of the necklace measures around 26". Sturdy 109 grams.
