This is a fascinating Zuni important inlaid silver necklace handmade by one of the most famous inlay artists of our time, Eldred Martinez. Eldred is known for her impeccable workmanship with inlay that consists of her inlay being beautifully hand carved. This necklace consists of a center dangling inlaid kachina face that measures around 1-1/2" X 1-1/8". Accenting the kachina face are two huge kachina patterns with accenting feather patterns. Each of these side pieces measure around 4-1/4" X 1-1/2". The inlay on this necklace contains turquoise, coral, onyx, and mother of pearl. The surrounding silver works include marvelous flattened silver shells. This necklace contains a wonderful handmade silver link chain with a traditional silver clasp. Sterling silver. Signed by Zuni artist, Eldred Martinez . The length of the necklace measures around 24-1/2". Sturdy 65 grams.
