Native American One Of The Biggest Heishi Santo Domingo Sterling Silver Necklace

This is a magnificent vintage Santo Domingo large shell necklace. This outstanding necklace contains a beautiful plethora of purple to white shells. The shells are absolutely astonishing and so beautiful. The majority of the shells wonderfully graduate in size towards the bottom with the largest round silver shell heishi measuring around 1/2" diameter. The purple to white colored shells that rest througout the round shell heishi are absolutely phenomenal and the largest measures around 1-5/8" X 7/8". Reseting at the ends are silver cones with a traditional silver clasp. Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+. Handmade by Santo Domingo artist, Lovato. The length of the necklace measures around 26". Sturdy 181 grams.
