This is an astounding vintage Santo Domingo necklace. The necklace portion is comprised double strands of green turquoise discs that end with silver cones – but not before the artist added 5 gorgeous thick shell crosses decorated with checkerboard inlay turquoise, shell and jet. And each of the crosses is strung with silver pods at either side! Sterling silver. Santo Domingo artist M. Aguilar. The length of the necklace measures around 26". Sturdy 128 grams.
