Native American 189 Grams Santo Domingo Shell Heishi Turquoise Necklace

This is a tremendous vintage Santo Domingo shell necklace. This remarkable necklace contains a beautiful plethora of hand carved graduating purple to white shell heishi that graduates in size towards the bottom. The smallest disc shaped shells each measure around 1/4" in diameter while the largest measures around 5/8" in diameter. Located throughout the white to purple shells are beautiful disc shaped turquoise stones. Also situated throughout the disc shaped stones and shells are impeccable large teardrop shaped purple to white colored shells with accenitng turquoise teardrop shaped stones. The bottom stones and shells each measure around 1-1/2" X 3/4". I love the end sterling silver cones with a traditional silver clasp. Sterling silver, marked. The length of the necklace measures around 28". Sturdy 189 grams.
