This is a museum quality vintage Navajo very unique inlaid cartoon silver squash blossom set. This remarkable necklace contains a mind blowing plethora of hand inlaid cartoon characters that consist of Tweety Bird, Elmer Fudd, Bugs Bunny, Sylvester, and the Tasmanian Devil. The intricacy of the inlaid stones and shells is amazing and so beautiful. The inlaid stones and shells consist of yellow shell, turquoise tan shell, opal, coral, onyx and mother of pearl. Resting throughout the entire necklace are wonderful handmade round silver beads with old natural patina. The bottom inlaid Tasmanian Devil measures around 1-3/4" X 1-3/4". Surrounding the inlaid Tasmanian are clusters of silver raindrops. What I really love about this necklace are the matching inlaid Tasmanian Devil pair of earrings. Each earring measures around 3/4" X 1/2". Sterling silver, marked. Cir. Mid century+. The length of the necklace measures around 30". Sturdy 99 grams.
