This is an incredible vintage Navajo silver necklace. This is such a noteworthy piece! Mother Nature boasts her beauty here with the detailed silver leaves, florals, fans and feathers that are arranged in perfect balance to accent these three stunning, huge triangular shaped Morenci turquoise stones! The leaves are beautifully arched to frame the neckline as they accent the center station that's home to the bright turquoise stones. And the dangling feathers at the base add special movement to the entire piece! So Nice! Morenci turquoise is a highly prized and sought-after variety of turquoise that comes from the Morenci mine in southeastern Arizona, United States. It is considered one of the finest and most valuable types of turquoise due to its distinctive colors and matrix patterns. Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+. Signed by Navajo artist, J.W. Toadlena.
