Edna Johnson Vintage Native American Navajo Turquoise Shell Necklace

This is a magnificent vintage Navajo three strand long necklace. This outstanding necklace contains three fascinating strands that consist of Blue Gem turquoise, abalone fetishes and white stones. The detailing of this necklace is impeccable as it consists of a beautiful plethora of all of these stones and shells. Resting throughout the three strands are wonderful hand cut white to brown shell heishi. Resting at the bottom of the necklace is a stunning large double strand jacla pendant with turquoise discs and white shells. Just an absolutely amazing necklace. Cir. 1980's+. Handmade by Navajo artist, Edna Johnson. The length of the necklace measures around 41". Sturdy 111 grams.
