Benny Pencio Vintage Santo Domingo Turquoise Inlay Sterling Silver Necklace

This is a striking vintage Santo Domingo inlaid shell pendant turquoise necklace. This phenomenal necklace contains a bottom very large detailed inlaid shell pendant that measures a whopping 3" X 3". Located on the inlaid pendant is an inlaid Thunderbird. The inlay includes impeccable mother of pearl, turquoise, coral, jet and silver. Running up both sides of the necklace are superior hand cut thick disc shaped turquoise and jet stones. Resting at the ends of the necklace are wonderful silver beads with silver cones and a traditional silver clasp. Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+. Signed by Santo Domingo artist, Benny Pencio. The length of the necklace measures around 29". Sturdy 81 grams.
