This is a museum quality vintage Navajo very large and long coral silver squash blossom necklace. This phenomenal necklace consists of 18 impeccable large and chunky coral stones with the largest measuring around 1" X 1/4". Surrounding each coral are beautiful silver works that include ropes, shells and slanted line segments. The intricacy and detailing on this piece is so incredible. Resting at the bottom of the necklace is a large thick and sturdy silver naja pendant that measures a whopping 3" X 3-1/4". The squashes on this necklace are so impressive as they are some of the largest and longest squashes we have seen on a squash blossom necklace, so amazing. Resting throughout the extremely long and remarkable necklace is a mind blowing plethora of handmade round silver beads. Resting near both ends of the necklace are long fluted silver cones with a thick traditional silver clasp. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. Signed by Navajo artist, DC. The length of the necklace measures around 35". Sturdy 274 grams.
