One Of The Most Unique Vintage Native American Navajo Turquoise Inlay Sterling Silver Buckle

This is an exquisite vintage Navajo turquoise and shell silver buckle. This amazing buckle consists of a center oval shaped mother of pearl shell that is beautifully surrounding by precise handmade silver raindrops. Located at the sides of the mother of pearl shell are two accenting triangular shaped turquoise chip inlaid sections. The rest of the buckle consists of silver bridges in each corner, bordering stems and a plethora of smaller silver raindrops. The detailing and intricacy of this buckle is so fascinating. The buckle measures around 2-7/8" X 2-1/8" and can fit a belt width of about 1-1/2" or less. The center stone measures around 1-1/2" x 3/4". Sterling silver. Cir. Mid century+. Sturdy 66 grams.
