This is an astounding Hopi all silver sun face bolo tie handmade by the very famous and important artist, Phillip Sekaquaptewa. Phillip is a multiple award winner. The hallmark on this bolo consists of the Weseoma with a tadpole symbol which was the name of his studio, Weseoma Studio. This bolo is absolutely remarkable as it consists of an all silver rounded bolo that measures a whopping 2-1/2" in diameter. The intricacy of the sun face on the bolo is just phenomenal. Check out the detailed chisel patterns that rest behind the sunface. Resting at the bottom of the 44" thick black leather tie are very heavy large silver cones with accenting thick chunky cones at the ends. Signed by Hopi artist, Phillip Sekaquaptewa. Sterling silver.
