Native American Completely Hand Carved Vintage Sterling Silver Turquoise Bolo Tie

This is an exceptional hand carved Indian Chief turquoise stone silver bolo tie. This bolo was handmade by the famous artist, Fran Gomez. This bolo is large and consists of a large hand carved turquoise stone. The stone is carved into a phenomenal Indian Chief and is just fascinating with the detailing. The stone rests on a huge thick silver plate that consists of wave works and ropes. The bolo measures around 3" X 2-5/8" and the stone measures around 2-1/8" X 1-5/8". Resting at the bottom of the 45" long black leather tie are stunning long silver cones, hogan beads, and segmented silver works. Signed by artist, Fran Gomez. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1980's+.
