Important Vintage Native American Zuni Horse Sterling Silver Turquoise Inlay Bolo Tie

This is a magnificent vintage Inlaid Zuni silver bolo tie. This phenomenal bolo consists of a top inlaid horse pattern that consists of mother of pearl and tigers eye. The inlaid horse section measures around 1-1/8" in diameter. The accenting bottom chunky Morenci turquoise stone on the bolo is stunning measuring around 1/2" X 3/8". Surrounding the unique shaped silver bolo are wonderful silver works that include leaves, shells and channeled patterns with a textured background. The bolo measures around 2" X 1-3/4". Resting at the bottom of the wonderful 38-1/2" thick black leather tie are long silver cones with accenting silver hogan beads. This bolo was handmade by Isabel Simplicio, a relative to the famous Zuni artist, Dan Simplicio. Handmade by Zuni artist, Isabel Simplicio. Sterling silver. Cir. 1960's+. Sturdy 41 grams.
