This is a museum quality Navajo turquoise and silver bolo tie being a Native veteran bolo. This piece contains a huge round silver bolo that consists of four outstanding hand carved silver feathers that dangle from the bottom of the bolo. Located in the center is a large dome shaped blue turquoise stone that appears to be from the Number 8 turquoise mine. The bolo measures around 2-5/8" in diameter not including the dangling silver feathers. Resting at the bottom of the 39" tie are beautiful silver pins that are long. The center stone measures around 1" x 1/2". Signed by Navajo artist, Bet Soi. Sterling silver. Sturdy 101 grams.
