One Of The Biggest Vintage Native American Zuni Turquoise Sterling Silver Bolo Tie

  • $ 1,999.99

This is a magnificent Zuni inlaid kachina dancer silver bolo tie. This remarkable bolo is absolutely huge and gigantic measuring a whopping 5-5/8" X 3-1/4", WOW! What I absolutely love about this bolo tie is that it can be displayed in multiple ways, one way being on the handmade inlaid silver stand that can be beautifully placed in your home on a shelf, another way being worn as an actual bolo tie and then also by removing the fascinating handmade inlaid silver drum pin and wearing the pin. The workmanship and beauty of this bolo is absolutely phenomenal and so very rare. Not only is it rare because it is gigantic but that it can be worn in multiple ways. The stones and shells located throughout the bolo are fascinating and consist of turquoise, yellow shells, coral, mother of pearl, pipestone, spiny oyster, and onyx stones. The detailing of the stones and shells consist of carvings giving the piece that much more character. Accenting the bolo are amazing silver raindrops and ropes. Resting at the ends of the 39" thick black leather tie are amazing silver cones with accenting hand inlaid dangling silver pendants. Signed by Zuni artist, J Beyuka. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. Sturdy 102 grams.
