One Of Most Detailed Vintage Hopi/ Navajo Sterling Silver Concho Belt

This is a superlative vintage Hopi silver belt. This remarkable belt consists of three outstanding large unique shaped all silver pendants with the center buckle measuring a whopping 2-1/8" X 1-5/8". Located on the silver pieces are fascinating very detailed hand carved overlay patterns that consist of a quail, pottery designs, geometric works and wave patterns. The intricacy to detailing is just phenomenal. Located within the overlay patterns are impeccable chisel works that are just so precise and fabulous. The rest of the belt consists of a black leather belt. Signed by Hopi artist, tribal water. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1980's+. This belt will fit a waist size between 26-1/2" and 38-1/4". Sturdy 149 grams.
