This is an impressive Navajo drop down choker style silver necklace. This piece contains a beautiful plethora of hand wrought silver tubule and round beads with a traditional silver clasp. This necklace consists of two remarkable pendants, one carrying a stunning turquoise stone and the other having a wonderful inlaid cardinal bird. The inlay consists of mother of pearl, coral and turquoise. The largest pendant measures aorund 1-5/8" X 1-3/8". The surrounding silver works on the pendants consist of raindrops, ropes and channeled patterns. Sterling silver. Cir. 1960's+. Signed by Navajo artist, Mary Smith . The length of the necklace measures around 21". Sturdy 55 grams.
