Important Vintage Museum Native American Navajo Turquoise Sterling Silver Ketoh Bracelet

This is a tremendous vintage Navajo very large turquoise and silver bowguard bracelet. This phenomenal piece contains a large center rectangular silver plate that measures a whopping 4" X 3-1/4", WOW! Resting on the center plate are five outstanding chunky Blue Gem turquoise stones with accenting silver works. The silver works consist of remarkable sun stampings, dotted works, wave patterns, plant works, line segments, and graduating repoussed shells. The detailing of this bracelet is just astonishing. I absolutely love the 6 amazing accenting large rounded silver button beads that rest at the sides, three on each side with each rounded button bead measuring around 1" in diameter. The silver works on the beads consist of sun works, dotted works and wave patterns. This bracelet can fit a wrist size of about 8-1/2" give or take since it contains two leather tie straps. The stones measure around 1/2" x 3/8". The width of the bracelet measures around 4". Sterling silver. Cir. Mid century . Sturdy 144 grams.
