Davina Benally 443 Grams Vintage Native American Navajo Turquoise Sterling Silver Concho Belt

This is a tremendous vintage Navajo very large turquoise silver concho belt. This remarkable belt contains 11 outstanding large silver conchos with 6 being butterfly shaped conchos and the other 5 being large oval shaped conchos. Located in the center of each concho are large chunky Cerrillos turquoise stones. Surrounding the conchos are amazing silver works that consist of teepee patterns, dotted works, sun works and repoussed patterns. Each oval shaped concho measures around 3-1/8" X 2-1/4" while each butterfly shaped silver concho measures around 2-3/8" X 1-1/4". The belt contains a larger oval shaped silver concho that consists of more spectacular matching silver works with a center chunky Cerrillos turquoise stone. The large buckle measures around 3-1/8" X 2-7/8" with the largest center stone on the buckle measures around 7/8" X 3/8". Signed by Navajo artist, Davina Benally . Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. This belt will fit a waist size between 34" and 45". Sturdy 443 grams.
