This is an exceptional vintage Navajo turquoise and silver squash blossom necklace. This museum quality piece contains 18 outstanding very rare Old Kingman turquoise stones. Surrounding the stones are impeccable silver fans with accenting raindrops. The necklace consists of 12 fabulous silver squashes. The beautiful matching silver naja pendant measures around 3-1/2" X 3" and the largest turquoise stone which is located on the naja measures around 3/4" X 3/8". Resting throughout the entire necklace are marvelous round silver beads with old natural patina and a traditional silver clasp. What makes this necklace so incredible is that those Old Kingman stones came from the old deposit not the new which is very rare. There is fools gold within the turquoise making it that much more valuable. Sterling silver. Cir. Mid century . The length of the necklace measures around 34". Sturdy 203 grams.
