Native American Rare Unusual Vintage Ben Begaye Sterling Silver Shell Ring

This artist recently passed away and he didn't usually use spiny oyster so this ring is rare.This is a striking Navajo large single shell silver ring. This ring was handmade by the very famous artist, Ben Begaye. Located in the center of the ring is an impeccable square shaped purple spiny oyster shell. Resting at the sides of the quadruple silver shank are large handmade silver shells. This is a beautiful vibrant colored silver ring. The center stone measures around 3/4" x 3/4". The ring face measures around 3/4" x 3/4". Signed by Navajo artist, Ben Begaye . The ring size is around 8. Cir. 1970's+. Sterling silver, marked. Sturdy 14 grams.
