Victor Moses Begay Vintage Native American Navajo Turquoise Sterling Silver Concho Belt

This is an impressive vintage Navajo turquoise silver concho belt handmade by one of the most famous artists in history, Victor Moses Begay. This concho belt is large and contains 15 outstanding huge oval and butterfly shaped silver conchos. Located on each concho are amazing teardop, round and dome shaped turquoise stones that appear to be from the amazing Blue Diamond turquoise mine. Resting throughout all of the conchos are incredible hand repoussed silver shells, raindrops and ropes. Each of the larger conchos measure around 3" X 2-1/2" and the large silver buckle measures around 3-1/2" X 3". Victor is one of the best cluster artists in history, and this is an authentic vintage Victor piece. The total length of the belt measures around 48-1/2" long. The center stone measures around 3/8" x 1/4". Signed by Navajo artist, Victor Moses Begay . Sterling silver. Cir. 1990's+. Sturdy 550 grams.
