Statement Vintage Native American Navajo Lone Mountain Turquoise Sterling Silver Concho Belt Old

This is a tremendous vintage Navajo turquoise silver concho belt. This piece contains 19 fabulous hand tooled silver conchos with a remarkable hand tooled large silver buckle. Each of the 9 rounded silver conchos measure around 2-1/8" X 1-3/4" while each of the 10 beautiful butterfly shaped silver conchos measure around 1-1/2" X 3/4". The surrounding silver works on the conchos consist of amazing silver sun patterns and channeld patterns. The incredible large silver buckle measures around 2-1/2" X 2" and consists of four outstanding turquoise stones. The stones on this belt appear to be from the very early Lone Mountain turquoise mine which is extremely rare and highly collectible. The stones measure around 3/8" x 3/16". Sterling silver. Cir. Mid century . This belt will fit a waist size between 31-1/2" and 35". Sturdy 319 grams.
