One Of Best Ever Vintage Native American Navajo Turquoise Inlay Sterling Silver Gold Concho Belt

This is a museum quality Navajo very impressive inlaid silver and gold link concho belt. This phenomenal belt contains 17 outstanding large oval shaped and butterfly shaped silver and gold conchos as well as a large buckle. Each of the larger conchos measures around 2-7/8" X 1-3/4". Located on each of the larger conchos as well as the buckle are fabulous design works that consist of bordering inlaid mother of pearl, coral, onyx, and Sleeping Beauty turquoise stones as well as gold plated carved leaves, and stems. Also accenting the larger conchos and buckle are superior sun stampings. Located on each of the butterfly shaped conchos are remarkable hand carved gold plated leaves and stems. Situated throughout the entire belt are fascinating chunky Morenci turquoise stones with the largest being on the buckle measuring around 1/2" X 3/8". The entire length of the belt measures around 34-1/4". Sterling silver and gold plated. Cir. 1980's+. Sturdy 247 grams.
