Huge Important Native American Navajo Rick Martinez Coral Sterling Silver Concho Belt

This is an astonishing vintage Navajo coral silver concho belt. This museum quality belt is one of the finest coral concho belts we have collected this year as the piece is huge and heavy but most importantly handmade by the master silversmith artist, Rick Martinez. This belt consists of 12 remarkable thick and heavy silver conchos including the marvelous buckle. The conchos each measure around 2-5/8" X 2-1/4". Located around the conchos are phenomenal silver works that consist of sun bursting patterns with accenting channeled patterns and bordering sun stampings. Resting in the center of each concho is a marvelous 3/8" X 1/4" coral stone. Signed by Navajo artist, Rick Martinez . Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. This belt will fit a waist size between 37-1/2" and 44-1/2". Sturdy 576 grams.
