Heavy Brownbear Vintage Native American Navajo Turquoise Sterling Silver Concho Belt

This is a museum quality vintage Navajo very large and heavy turquoise silver concho belt. This outstanding belt contains 10 fascinating large rectangular shaped silver conchos including the matching buckle. This phenomenal belt contains impeccable thick 2-1/2" X 2" rectangular shaped silver conchos that each consist of a center hand carved bear pattern wtih an accenting arrow. Bordering the conchos are phenomenal silver channel works, sun stampings and teepee patterns. The intricacy and detailing of each concho is absolutely superior. Resting on each concho is a chunky Blue Gem turquoise stone that measures around 1/2" X 3/8". Located on the back of each concho are two copper links. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. Mid century .
