Up for sale is this tremendous vintage Navajo silver and gold bracelet. Love this two-tone bracelet of sterling silver and 14k gold! Across the face of the bracelet is the 1/8" wide spine of 14k - with handstamped arrowheads set at each end! This is truly one of those fabulous pieces to either wear alone or layered! Handstamping is a traditional technique commonly used in the creation of Native American jewelry. This technique involves using handcrafted stamps to create intricate designs and patterns and many stamped designs in Native American jewelry have cultural or symbolic significance. These symbols may represent aspects of nature, spirituality, tribal identity, or stories from Native American mythology. The width of the bracelet measures around 3/8". Signed by Navajo artist, R. Long. Sterling silver and 14k gold, both marked. The inside end to end measures around 5-1/8" with an additional 1-1/4" gap. Sturdy 12 grams.
