This is a tremendous vintage Navajo silver bracelet. Lucky 13! Each of these three rows or gorgeous Sleeping Beauty turquoise stones steal the show as the face of this marvelous cuff! Love how the artist chose to vertical set the top and bottom rows of the oval stones, as they beautifully frame the round stones of the center row! Each side of the stones are then neatly framed with a dimensional fan that leads to the extensive handstamped horizontals that decorate the rest of the cuff. Such a tremendous look! The artist, Herman Smith is a highly respected Navajo silversmith known for his traditional jewelry designs. He began crafting jewelry in the 1970s, having been taught by his mother, Mary C. Yazzie, and continues to produce pieces that honor his Navajo heritage and traditional silversmithing practices. Collectors appreciate his craftsmanship and commitment to using solid, substantial materials that emphasize the beauty of the silver and the natural stones. The width of the bracelet measures around 3/4". Signed by Navajo artist, Herman SmitH. Sterling silver, marked. The inside end to end measures around 5-5/8" with an additional 1" gap.
