Important Santo Domingo **turquoise Corwn Plants** Native American Jewelry Silver Necklace

This is a remarkable Santo Domingo, opulent, important turquiose necklace. This piece contains two fabulous and impressive inlaid sections. The inlay is of beautiful corn plants and consist of spiny shell, mother of pearl and onyx. Situated on the bottom portion of the necklace is a triple strand necklace that consists of white shells, spiny oysters and turquoise. Located towards the top of the necklace is a double strand necklace with more beauitful spiny oysters and turquoise stones. The turquoise is a wonderful blue coloration and appears to be from the McGinnis turquoise mine in Nevada. Each inlaid section measures around 4" X 1-1/4". Sterling silver. Handmade by Santo Domingo artist, Ray Rosetta. The length of the necklace measures around 31". Sturdy 197 grams.
