But no matter its purpose, you won’t be sorry you’ve acquired this marvelous item! It’s about 2-1/2” x 2” and the removeable lid is home to a stunning large 5/8” x 3/8” oval Royston turquoise stone that’s neatly nestled among a silver applique fan, starbursts, swirling stems and berries! It’s about 1” deep and the face of this half-moon “box” itself is completely decorated with handstamp designs, with two silver starbursts. And the base has three large silver pods to stabilize it should you choose to display it upright. The back has a large bail with a 1/4” opening to easily accommodate a necklace you may already have – but as previously stated, it does come with this incredible thick 24” silver chain.
