This is an exceptional vintage Zuni fetish necklace. This fascinating necklace contains 5 outstanding strands that include fetishes, coral, turquoise, spiny oyster shells, ancient tree sap, and multiple colored shells. The intricacy and beauty of this necklace is so incredible. Located throughout the necklace are hand carved fetishes along with hand carved mother of pearl feathers. Situated at the ends are silver cones with a traditional silver clasp and an adjustable silver link chain. The necklace can range in length measuring from about 26" to about 30". Sterling silver. Cir. 1970's+. Sturdy 198 grams.
