Best Joseph Quinatana Cochiti Sterling Silver Native American Concho Belt

This is a museum quality vintage important Cochiti huge silver concho belt handmade by the very famous artist, Joseph Quintana. This impeccable belt is one of the finest we have ever collected and this piece is so incredibly special and important. Jospeh is one of the best Cochiti artists in history. Look at that phenomenal hallmark on the back. The concho belt is gargantuan containing 7 outstanding huge and heavy all silver conchos that each measure around 3-1/2" X 3". The surrounding silver works on the conchos are superior as they include sun stampings, plant works and beautiful line segments. The buckle on this belt measures around 3-3/4" X 2-3/4" and include wonderful silver sun bursting patterns, sun works and plant works. This is a very historical and important piece. Joseph contributed alot to Native American art. The silver is incredibly thick and heavy. Check out how he even stamped sun patterns into the leather that surrounds the conchos. What makes this belt even more important is that it was originally intended for the famous singer Jim Morrison. There was two belts that Joseph presented to Jim to purchase and he only wanted one so he picked the other but ironically Jim chose the less expensive piece so this belt was the more impressive belt.
