This is an impressive vintage Navajo single stone hand carved turquoise stone silver bolo tie. This fascinating bolo consists of a marvelous very detailed hand carved eagle turquoise stone. The stone appears to be from the wonderful Easter Blue turquoise mine and measures to be a mind blowing 2-3/8" X 1-3/4". The intricacy of the carvings of the eagle is just phenomenal. The eagle stone is situated in a marvelous shadowbox setting. The large silver bolo consists of impeccable silver works that include leaves, raindrops and stems. The detailing on this bolo is just astonishing. The bolo measures around 3-3/4" X 2-3/4". Resting at the ends of the thick 38-1/2" black leather tie are long silver cones with accenting silver beads. Signed by Navajo artist, Jose Rojas . Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. Sturdy 96 grams.
