Authentic Kenneth Begay Vintage Native American Navajo Sterling Silver Salt Pepper Set

Most famous Navajo artist in history. This is a museum quality vintage Navajo silver and ironwood salt and pepper shaker set. This impeccable set was wonderfully handmade by the extremely famous artist, Kenneth Begay. Ken is one of the most famous Native American artists and is known to be the father of modern Navajo jewelry. He has won multple awards throughout his years of making beautiful jewelry. This set includes a phenomenal working salt and pepper shaker. The salt is meant to go in the amazing handmade ironwood bowl with the spoon being the salt shaker and the pepper is meant to go in the actual shaker silver piece. I just cannot get over the intricacy and detailing of this set, so much thought and workmanship included. The ironwood bowl measures around 2-1/4" in diameter and the salt spoon shaker measures around 2-1/4" X 1/2". The pepper shaker measures around 2" X 21-1/8". The stampings on the silver works is just amazing consisting of swirling patterns, slanted line segments and line segments. Sterling silver, marked. Signed by Navajo artist, Kenneth Begay. Cir. 1970's+. Sturdy 88 grams.
