This is an astonishing vintage Navajo large remarkable turquoise silver concho belt. This remarkable belt consists of a beautiful plethora of handmade rectangular shaped silver conchos that each measure around 2" X 1/2". Resting in the center of each concho is a chunky Sleeping Beauty turquoise stone. The surrounding silver works on the belt consist of sun bursting patterns, and bordering sun stampings. This remarkable belt is so impressive. What I love about this concho belt is the fascinating large matching silver buckle that measures around 3" X 2-1/2". The buckle contains 5 fascinating chunky Sleeping Beauty turquoise stones. I absolutely love this beautiful concho belt. The stones measure around 3/8" x 3/8". Signed by Navajo artist, Jay Cowboy. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. This belt will fit a waist size between 39-3/4" and 49-3/4". Sturdy 322 grams.
