Stanley Manygoats – Gallup-Trained Native American Jewelry Artisan

About Stanley Manygoats
Stanley Manygoats is widely regarded as one of the kindest individuals in the Native American jewelry trade. A genuine family man, he makes jewelry primarily for the love of the craft rather than as his main source of income. Stanley learned under the guidance of Ray Tracy before going on to work for Stoneweaver, the studio run by Steve Harper in Gallup, New Mexico — the same Steve Harper known for his notable collaborations with artist Albert Francisco.
Today, Stanley works independently on a small scale while taking care of his young children, balancing a limited but dedicated jewelry practice with family life.
Identifying Stanley Manygoats's Work
His hallmark is a scribed S. Manygoats.
Style & Background
Having trained under both Ray Tracy and Steve Harper of Stoneweaver, Stanley's technical foundation draws from two well-regarded figures in the Gallup jewelry scene, even as his current output remains intentionally small-scale and family-focused.
