Mike Thomas Vintage Native American Navajo Turquoise Sterling Silver Bolo Tie

This is a remarkable vintage Navajo double stone silver bolo tie. This impressive bolo consists of two large chunky vibrant blue colored turquoise stones. Situated throughout the stones on the entire bolo are fascinating silver works that include leaves, raindrops, ropes, swirling stems, ropes and wave patterns. The thickness and detailing of the bolo is absolutely astonishing. The bolo measures around 2-3/4" X 2-1/4". Resting at the bottom of the 44" thick black leather tie are long silver cones with accenting raindrops. The stones measure around 3/4" x 5/8". Signed by Navajo artist, Mike Thomas. Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. Sturdy 74 grams.
